Unleavened | Living Into God’s Grace | An Ash Wednesday Service
Wednesday, March 5 | 7:00–8:15 p.m. | Oak Brook & Butterfield Auditorium & Online
Fear. Regret. Anxiety. Shame. Those are just some of the words that describe how many of us feel when we consider the particularly broken parts of our lives. But God, through His grace, does not view us this way; instead, He washes away all the brokenness so that we can become, as the Scriptures say, like unleavened bread.
In 1 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul uses unleavened bread as a metaphor for those who are truly living into God’s grace. We hope you’ll join us on Ash Wednesday for a special time of worship as we reflect on how the illustration of unleavened bread showcases the beauty of God’s grace and impacts our daily walk with Him.
