What to Expect on Sundays

9:00 & 10:45 a.m. | Oak Brook & Online
10:00 a.m. | Butterfield & Online

Christ Church is a great place for you and your family to thrive. Each week you'll experience inspiring music, a life-giving message rooted in the Bible and a chance to meet people committed to discovering their purpose and living out their faith.

We offer two expressions of worship. Contemporary at our Oak Brook and Butterfield campuses. And a Classic service at Oak Brook.

Your kids will have a blast in our children’s area. It’s safe, secure and designed just for them! Students, middle and high school, will find a place to belong and grow. You can learn more here.

Where do I park?  At our Oak Brook campus, feel free to park anywhere in or lot located between 31st Street and York Road. As you walk toward our main doors, you will be greeted with a friendly smile by a member of our welcome team who can direct you to our worship space(s), family check-in or answer any questions you may have. You will also find plenty of handicapped spaces for those who need them.

For those visiting our Butterfield location, please park in any open space, we leave some free at the front just for you!

What should I wear?  We hope to be an authentic and welcoming environment. These days Sunday best can mean jeans, dresses, business casual and suits. As you might expect, those attending Contemporary worship are dressed more casually. Our Classic worshippers are often more dressed up. There's room for everyone, so dress comfortably.

What is offered for kids? Kids and students are a priority at Christ Church! Our spaces and programs are age appropriate. Our Welcome Team is ready to make your child(ren), ages birth through grade 5, feel welcome and secure. Your child's safety is important. So, the team will lead you through our registration and check-in process.

How can students engage? Middle school students, grade 6-8, at our Oak Brook location meet in our Student Center on Sunday mornings to explore the Bible and faith. High school students join their parents on Sunday mornings for worship and are encouraged to join our Koinonia gatherings and small groups during the week.

It is much the same Sunday mornings at our Butterfield campus, our middle schoolers meet in the Student Center for programming appropriate for their age group while our high schoolers join in worship. Our high school students join their counterparts at the Oak Brook location for weekday Koinonia gatherings and small groups.
