Help Young Life Share the Gospel with Local Youth
Young Life helps middle school and high school students experience life as God intended it by loving them as they are, giving them a place to belong, introducing them to Jesus and nurturing their faith. Young Life offers weekly rhythms of fellowship via Club (“parties with a purpose”) and Campaigners (gatherings with deeper study, service and leadership). Young Life offers the WyldLife program for middle schoolers, and the Capernaum program offers kids with differing abilities their own place to belong and experience God’s love. Young Life also ministers to kids through unforgettable camps and retreats and engages them in friendship in their own communities.
Join a crew of Christ Church volunteers serving at Club, Young Life’s weekly gathering for high schoolers. Volunteers will help with setup, observe the ministry during the party, serve snacks to students and perform some light cleanup. This is the perfect chance to experience Young Life up close and see how God might be calling you to walk alongside local youth.
This is a Group Serve opportunity, meaning we’re all going together and transportation is provided! Simply meet us in the Commons at Christ Church Oak Brook at 7:00 p.m. to join the van crew for free (and fun) travel to and from the LT Corral in Western Springs. (You may travel separately if preferred, though we do ask that you join us for orientation and prayer at church beforehand.) We plan to return to Christ Church Oak Brook by 9:30 p.m. Space is limited, so reserve your seat in the van by registering ahead of time.
