Founded in 1877, Pacific Garden Mission is the oldest continuously operating Gospel rescue mission in the country. PGM meets the physical needs of Chicago’s homeless and hurting men, women and children 365 days a year — serving over 2,000 hot, nutritious meals and sheltering more than 400 people each day.

PGM also nurtures emotional and spiritual well-being through transformational, Christ-focused programs and care that help people discover Jesus, beat addiction, restore families and move toward flourishing. Beyond Chicago, PGM makes an impact for Christ with the “Pacific Garden Mission” broadcast on TV and YouTube and the award-winning radio drama, “UNSHACKLED!”
