Creation — Genesis 1
So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. God saw all that He had made, and it was very good. – Genesis 1:27, 31
God created the world and called it good. Every human being is made in His image, which means every person carries dignity, value and a reflection of the Creator. We were made to know God, to reflect His character, and to live in relationship with Him and one another.
The Fall — Genesis 3
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. – Romans 3:23
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked. – Genesis 3:6–7
Sin entered the world and fractured everything. What was once whole became broken—our relationship with God, with each other and even within ourselves. Sin spreads into every part of life, bringing division, suffering, injustice and death.
Redemption — John 3:16; Romans 5:8
For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16
In His love, God did not leave us in our brokenness. He sent Jesus Christ to redeem us. On the cross, Jesus took on our sin and pain, making a way for us to be forgiven and restored to God. Through His death and resurrection, we are given new life and the promise of eternity with Him.
Restoration — Acts 1:8; Revelation 21:5-8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
Through the gift of the Holy Spirit, God is at work renewing us and the world. We are invited to join Him in His mission—to bring healing, justice and hope as He restores all things. This is the life we are called into: participating in God’s ongoing work of renewal until He makes everything new.
How to Put Your Faith in Christ
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. –Romans 10:9
When you’re ready to trust Jesus and receive His forgiveness for all your sin, the next step is to simply tell Him that you commit to believing in Him. Put your faith in Jesus by telling God:
- Where you’ve been: "God, I know that I'm a sinner. I know that I’m far from you."
- What you believe: "I believe in Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross, rose from the dead, and brings me near to You, God."
- What you're promising: "I choose to follow You, God."
- How you'll live your life: "I give you my life from this day forward."
- What you need to live out your promise: "Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and give me Your power, grace, and strength to live the life I was born to live."
What Now?
When you tell God that you’ve put your faith in Jesus… if you say it and mean it… then you are forgiven and adopted into His family.
You might not feel any different. But the Gospel is about facts, not feelings. If you believe in Christ, then you’ve been forgiven, and He has come into your life.
