Whether you feel like you are in a financial crisis or are trying to avoid one, Financial Peace University can help you learn faith-based fiscal responsibility. The program looks at everything from debt, mortgages and insurance to wills and generosity and helps you create a plan. A coordinator will host the 9-week class via Zoom online (we will take the week of April 4 off for Easter). Together the class will watch Dave Ramsey present the lessons via video, followed by discussion and practical steps to take each week. The cost is $129.99 per household.
This nine-week biblically based class is for everyone no matter your age or stage in life.
Many people think Financial Peace University is a class for people who need to get out of debt. While that is partly true, it is also a great way to prepare for the next step in your finances or milestones ahead. Some people who have benefited from Financial Peace include:
- Engaged couples or newlyweds
- Young adults starting out on their own
- People planning for retirement
- Parents planning for their children’s college education
- Recently widowed or divorced individuals who are handling finances for the first time
We have servant leaders from our congregation who have a background in financial planning and a heart to help others. These leaders meet virtually with individuals or couples to help provide prayer and encouragement as well as practical budgeting help.
Participation in Financial Peace University is required to benefit from this offering.
