For Chicagoland | Day of Service

Saturday, October 22

Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. – Isaiah 58:10

Can one ordinary day bring hope and light to hundreds of people in DuPage and Cook Counties? We think so — and we need your help!

We’re rolling up our sleeves on October 22 to serve our mission partners and our community, helping to lift our neighbors to their God-given potential. We will gather at Christ Church Oak Brook from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. for a Kick-off Celebration before dispersing to project sites. There are nearly 50 projects for you, your family and your friends to choose from.

Types of projects include:

  • Prepare & serve meals
  • Build & assemble furniture
  • Paint & improve interior spaces
  • Garden & outdoor beautification
  • Perform music
  • Socialize with the lonely
  • Sort & organize clothes
  • Write cards of encouragement

Visit the registration page to view the full list of projects.

*Childcare for the day will be available for kids in kindergarten and younger.
