Third and Fourth Grade Bible Class I Oak Brook

Third and Fourth Grade Bible Class and Celebration
Sundays in February During Services | Oak Brook

The third and fourth grade students in our Children's Ministry are at an exciting stage of spiritual development as they begin to learn how to navigate the Bible and seek ways to express their own personal relationship with God. The Children’s Ministry team would like to partner with families to help celebrate this important faith milestone by providing your third/fourth grader their very own Bible.

This is an opportunity for third and fourth grade children to attend Bible Class every Sunday during the church service in February. The students will explore their new Bibles with their faith mentors, ask questions, and dive into the living Word of God! Bibles will be kept at church until March 6 when they will be presented to the thrid and fourth graders at the Bible Celebration during the church service. Registration is required for particpation in the Bible Class and Celebration. If you have a third or fourth grader and are interested in registering your child for the Bible Class every Sunday in February and the Bible Celebration on March 6, click the link below to register.

    Children’s Ministry

Children are a vital part of the church today. They are not the next generation, they are part of our faith community now. We need them. They inspire us. At Christ Church we are passionate about creating environments where children and faith mentors can engage with one another and where we give space for the Holy Spirit to move and form these young hearts and minds. Creative teams teach the bible and lead worship, spurring our children to love Jesus wholeheartedly and carry His light into their world. Our Children’s Ministry is a place where kids ages birth-fifth grade receive tangible expressions of God's grace and truth amongst a vibrant, loving and caring community of faith.

Please register your child for the 2021-22 school year using the Register My Child link to the right. If you are new to our church, please register all your children using the same link. If you have a child in 4th or 5th grade and wish to have him/her released from class on their own, please fill out the Release On Own Form.  Completing these steps enters you into our computer system and will allow you to check-in your children at any kiosk at church on Sundays.

    January 19 | February 2 & 16
    March 2 & 16 | April 6 & 20 | May 4 & 18

Christ Church MOPS believes in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. We rally women to help them become more brave, kind and honest by providing a safe and loving community to journey through motherhood. We know that mothering can be challenging at times, and so MOPS is here to create a space where moms can be themselves.

Our specialty is serving moms. Whether you are a soon-to-be mom, first-time mom or seventh-time mom, you are welcome here. Whether you are an adoptive mom, young mom, seasoned mom, foster mom, stepmom or any other type of mom, you are welcome here.

We begin meetings with a delicious spread of food to choose from and a time to chat with new and old friends. We enjoy listening to a speaker and finish our meeting by discussing the topic around our tables.

Free childcare is given to children from infants to kindergarten through our MOPS Kids program. Mothers can relax and enjoy our meetings knowing the MOPS Kids program is caring for their children in the best possible way. The quality care, fun lessons and biblical teaching that MOPS Kids offers helps moms get the most out of their time in the meeting.

    1. Encourage each child to enjoy worshipping Jesus.
    2. Come alongside parents to encourage their spiritual nourishment.
    3. Secure a volunteer buddy to be with your child if needed.
