At Christ Church, we believe that God designed us to live in community. Rich, lasting relationships help us to grow spiritually, face life's challenges well and become who God created us to be. Group life provides us with a safe space to deepen our walk with Christ, grow closer to others and be equipped to make an impact in the world around us.
Christ Church offers a variety of groups to accommodate people in every age and stage. Starting this fall, each group will begin its life together by undertaking Rooted, a 10-week discipleship experience that will deepen your faith and help you discover God's purpose for your life.
We will start with a Rooted Vision Night on Wednesday, September 15th. Stop by between 4:30-7:00 p.m. for our Neighborhood Gathering on the church's front lawn with food trucks and live Irish music celebrating half way to St. Patrick's Day! Then, join us in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m. where we will kick-off our Rooted groups together.
Each group consists of 6–10 people committed to exploring the Bible, engaging in prayer, serving others, sharing their stories and developing the practices essential to a healthy spiritual life. Group leaders engage in a process of discernment and training before leading and are committed to helping make Rooted a transformative experience for all.
We encourage you to read the FAQ section below for more information before you start the process to join or lead a group. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at Butterfield@ChristChurch.us; a team member will be happy to reach out and chat with you!
