Run for Clean Water with Team World Vision
NOTE: Marathon Cancelled; Training/Fundraising Continue

Each day, nearly 1 billion people go without access to clean water, and more than 6,000 children under 5 die from diseases caused by unsafe water or lack of sanitation and hygiene. Many children in Africa walk six kilometers or more each day to fetch water.

For every $50 Team World Vision (TWV) raises, World Vision provides clean water for one child for life — transforming communities, reducing disease and allowing children to attend school and flourish.

While the 2020 Chicago Marathon has been cancelled due to COVID-19, Team World Vision's efforts continue apace. Join TWV to train with the team (culminating with a 26.2-mile run in October at a location to be determined) and to continue raising funds for clean water for those in need.

Since 2010, Christ Church runners have raised more than $1 million for clean water, providing a new chance at life to over 20,000 children. For the 10-year anniversary of the Christ Church team, TWV wants to celebrate with their biggest fundraising year ever!
