Christmas Shoebox Gifts

Donations Accepted through November 26 | Oak Brook | Butterfield

Christmas can be a challenging time for families in need, as pressing financial obligations often mean little or no money left over for children’s gifts. Please join the Christ Church Food Pantry Team in filling Christmas Shoeboxes to bless God’s precious children! In many cases, the gift you donate will be the only one a child receives.

Many of these gifts will be shared with families at the Christ Church/Salvation Army Food Pantry on Saturday, December 10. Many more will be distributed by some of Christ Church’s cherished domestic mission partners:

  • Inner City Impact | Chicago
  • Love INC: Toy Express | Clarendon Hills
  • aring Network Illinois | Downers Grove
  • Resilient | Villa Park

How do I donate a shoebox?

Step 1 | Pick up a box and accompanying instruction sheet at either campus and fill it with the items listed on the sheet.

Step 2 | Add one of the sticky labels from the instruction sheet to the shoebox to indicate if the gift is for a boy or a girl.

Step 3 | Return your UNWRAPPED shoebox to either campus by Saturday, November 26. At Oak Brook, boxes can be placed beneath the rear door of the big white truck in the parking lot every day of the week.
