Navigating
Our Conflicted Times
Workshop

A recent study by the Barna Research group found that 85% of people stopped talking to a family member after the 2016 presidential election. In this same study, 100% of people said their pastors/churches do not teach enough about conflict. Conflict is not going away any time soon and as Christians, we are called to honor God by learning how to navigate it well.
Join us for an afternoon workshop where we will begin to explore how division and polarization impacts us all and how to harness the energy of conflict toward love. We are grateful to partner with the Colossian Forum, a Christian organization located in Grand Rapids who lead the way in helping congregations like ours proactively identify and lean into areas of conflict. We will seek to understand why conflict happens, why it is so acute today and how we can navigate this landscape together.
Join us immediately following worship. Lunch will be served at the conclusion of worship until 12:45 p.m. at which time the Colossian Forum will begin their presentation.
If you are the parent of a high school student, have them join you!
