Poverty doesn't always look like what we expect. In this workshop, we'll learn from our mission partner Outreach, a local Christian nonprofit that has spent decades walking alongside families in vulnerable situations in DuPage County through youth development programs, counseling, and family stabilization services. Together, we'll explore what it looks like to see our neighbors' stories with compassion and to root our response in genuine love and a shared belief that every person is made in God's image. Join us as we seek understanding, build empathy and ask what it means to love our neighbors, right here in our own backyard.
