Emmaus
Supporting Survivors of Human Trafficking
Data shows that men and boys make up more than a third of those exploited in the sex trade. However, there are virtually no services available to male victims and survivors of trafficking and exploitation. They are often overlooked, misunderstood, stereotyped, ignored and left without support.
Emmaus is a Christian non-profit working to prevent exploitation and to empower male survivors of the sex trade to rebuild their lives. The goal is to end trafficking and exploitation for ALL mankind.
Emmaus serves their clients through:
- Preventing exploitation before it starts
- Connecting with survivors where they are
- Providing transformative, trauma-informed care
- Inviting restored people to restore people by reinvesting
