World Relief DuPage/Aurora works to foster a movement among local churches to create welcoming communities where refugees and immigrants thrive. In partnership and community with the local church, World Relief envisions the most vulnerable people transformed economically, socially, and spiritually.

Virtual Volunteering with World Relief

The uncertainty and adversity of the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted immigrants and refugees in our neighborhoods in profound ways. That's why, throughout this unusual season, World Relief continues their ministry of equipping and empowering these vulnerable people to find their way — and they need your help.

Virtual Volunteers can utilize their gifts and expertise as youth, English language or citizenship tutors and career mentors. And because loneliness is one of the greatest challenges refugees and immigrants face in America, good friends are greatly in need. Serve as a Friendship Partner and get to know a refugee or immigrant family, helping them adapt to America by providing consistent friendship, cultural empowerment and other practical help.
